Mr. Hudson
Straight No Chaser
Release Date: October 6, 2009
Label: G.O.O.D. Music/Universal Motown
Abstract
After contributing to a few tracks for Kanye West's 808 & Heartbreak and signing to his G.O.O.D. Music label, Mr. Hudson is finally ready to make his own mark on America. Fans of the British alternative pop singer who knew him back when he was billed as Mr. Hudson and The Library will notice a radical departure from the sound of his debut album. Mr. Hudson has always had a contemporary sound that balances the line between the pop melodies of The Police and contemporary R&B, but his new approach is decidedly less organic and features synths and Auto-Tune vocals. The first two singles, " There Will Be Tears" and "Supernova" bear no resemblance to his Library days and have a flavor that can neatly be described as "Kanyesque."

i got Hudson's album and that was really good. but im excited for this album even though hes looked at the auto-tune for help. glad i got an official release date now.
so did he get rid of the library?
I ONLY HAD PART OF THE 1ST ALBUM...LONG STORY..i love the new songs he has done even though he does have auto tune..not like he needed it. but i have heard 5 songs so far and they rocked...i dont think he has gotten rid of the library its just that couldnt be a part of his negotiation with G.O.O.D music..im sure he still wokk with the library just not in conjunction with Kanye and the boys ya know..
