Incarcerated rapper Max B (Charly Wingate) has been granted an appeal on a robbery and murder conviction last September that sentenced him to 75 years in prison. Max’s manager Joli O’Shay released a statement advising that her client is going to exhaust all available options to overturn the verdict.
According to French Montana, a close friend of Max B.'s, the incarcerated rapper is keeping his spirits high.
"He [is] hanging in there," French Montana told AllHipHop.com. "You know the judge just gave him a date. He about to give him a date to go back to court, so keep prayers up, that’s all you can do. They try to sabotage rappers. You know it is what it is man. Free Max B!"
