New Mastermind

Known for their popular collections and elevated price tags, mastermind Japan preview their upcoming 2009 Spring/Summer releases. Along with the usual contemporary implementation of skulls, mastermind creates an array of looks including collaborations with Visvim and Levis Fenom. The collection is expected for an early Spring release, for January 20th, 2009.

Frame Game....A step up..

Bring some life and personality to the classic Wayfarers, 36-year old artist Chris Mendoza will be working with Ray Ban for the limited-edition Sunglass Hut Art Series. The drawing inspirations come from Mendoza’s Nicaraguan roots featuring primitive, abstract shapes and eighties-style graffiti. Available in black, red and white, only 100 of these will be available in each color and will retail for $250. While it may be steep for a pair of Wayfarers, keep in mind that these are very limited and that 25% of the proceeds will be going towards the Giving the Gift of Sight organization.
