Nixon “The Genie” Watch

Nixon introduces The Genie, one of the watchmakers latest additions its ever evolving roster. Somewhat reminiscent of those fortune teller eight balls, The Genie has a special “magic genie” feature that reveals an answer to any of your questions with the simple press of a button. In addition it features all the actual time-telling aspects of a Nixon, including the time, day and date, along with a timer, stopwatch, LCD display and unique unidirectional rotating bezel function. Featuring a 100-meter polycarbonate with hardened mineral crystal case and silicone band, The Genie is now available in black, surplus/black/red, purple, sky blue, red, shocking pink and white through select Nixon retailers.

Nixon - The Player Gold/Black

The Player is one of the staple models from Nixon which has maintained a good following. Their latest offering puts a twist to the classic design in two tone gold and black colorway that adds more luxurious feel to the time piece. Stainless steel is plated with shiny gold color while the black is less shiny in matte finish providing a good contrast. Simple face is void of numbers and features a single stone at the 6 o’clock position. The dial is covered by a non scratch mineral crystal glass and this watch is water resistant to 100m.

Nixon x Primitive Rubber Player

Nixon worked with Paul Rodriguez on a set of Rubber Players exclusive to his Encino, California-based shop Primitive. The watch comes in two colors: purple, representing the LA Lakers; and black, which draws from Primative’s signature color. Technically, the timepiece features a 3-hand Japanese Quartz movement, a silicon band, custom-engraved caseback with an amethyst or aquamarine stone and Primitive wordmark at the 6 o’clock position. Drops on November 14, 2009.

Nixon Slime Rubber Player

Album of The Month November 2011- Drake "Take Care"

If I had to sum up Take Care in one word, I would say its growth. If theres one thing that Drake has shown us since he came into the rap game, its that he is, if nothing else, consistant. He has a formula: Rap a lot, sing a little, do a hook here and there, and bam, you've got Drake's whole catalogue in less that one sentence. Thats not necessarily a bad thing, and in the case of Take Care, Drake seems to focus more on perfecting his forumla rather than expanding it, while still showing us that he's gotten better.

Another Classic under the Belt of the hottest artist in the Country right now. This dude is so on fire he is starting to make this look like Gucci Mane reincarnated again with a whole new "lingo" and wordplay. Although not a lyricist by any means, Future has the rhaspyness and alertness in his voice to wake a mid eastern village! His beat selection is perhaps the best I have seen since the old Gucci Mane as well. I dont know what it is but when your hot ...you ARE HOT! & this dude has it right now. If you cant see that then you are a getwit just like the rest of them. Here at Cartel Living we listen to artist earlier on and love them and watch 2 years later the world loves them...& beleive me Young Future aint no different. "AINT NO WAAYYYY AROUNNND THATTTT"
