Capturing the vibrancy, diversity and rich heritage of New York City’s most celebrated borough, ABSOLUT Brooklyn features an invigorating blend of red apple and ginger replete in a specially-designed bottle reminiscent of the ubiquitous “Brooklyn Stoop Life.” Designed in collaboration with Spike Lee, the bottle is a colorful depiction of the stoop where the Brooklyn-bred auteur grew up – #165. Harkening back to the decades-long notion that the stoop is truly the epicenter of creativity, culture and community, the bottle serves as an homage to that Brooklyn ideal of stoop life – where memories are made and ideas are sparked through conversation and camaraderie. Other subtle nods include Brooklyn nicknames on the steps of the stoop and a line from a love letter to Brooklyn, written by spoken word poet and Brooklynite Lemon Andersen. In addition, the Lars Olsson Smith seal, never before altered on the iconic ABSOLUT bottle, has been “Spiked” – Lars wears a baseball cap and glasses evocative of Spike Lee.

The Jordan camp introduces another colorway to their most successful hybrid franchise to date, the Spizike. Taking inspiration from the always popular Mars Blackmon, the sneakers feature various references to Spike Lee’s timeless character including lace locks, “Do You Know?” lining and an insole graphic. Along with the Mars hits, this latest rendition boasts a familiar Fire Red colorway with hints of Blue and Grey throughout. Album of The Month November 2011- Drake "Take Care"

If I had to sum up Take Care in one word, I would say its growth. If theres one thing that Drake has shown us since he came into the rap game, its that he is, if nothing else, consistant. He has a formula: Rap a lot, sing a little, do a hook here and there, and bam, you've got Drake's whole catalogue in less that one sentence. Thats not necessarily a bad thing, and in the case of Take Care, Drake seems to focus more on perfecting his forumla rather than expanding it, while still showing us that he's gotten better.

Another Classic under the Belt of the hottest artist in the Country right now. This dude is so on fire he is starting to make this look like Gucci Mane reincarnated again with a whole new "lingo" and wordplay. Although not a lyricist by any means, Future has the rhaspyness and alertness in his voice to wake a mid eastern village! His beat selection is perhaps the best I have seen since the old Gucci Mane as well. I dont know what it is but when your hot ...you ARE HOT! & this dude has it right now. If you cant see that then you are a getwit just like the rest of them.
