Nike LeBron 9 (BlK/ReD)

Today Nike has officially unveiled LeBron James’ ninth signature shoe:

Designed with specific insights from LeBron James himself, the shoe is the first to combine Flywire technology and Hyperfuse construction. Built for breathability and durability, the Hyperfuse construction is a composite of three different layers of material that are fused together to create a nearly seamless, one piece http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifupper that sheds considerable weight without sacrificing protection. A midfoot harness that wraps around the foot incorporates Flywire 3.0 technology for added strength and lock down support. This lightweight upper mimics the speed and strength symbolic of LeBron’s game.

The finely-tuned midsole provides a unique hybrid cushioning system. By combining Max Air 180 in the heel for absorption on impact with a Nike Zoom unit in the forefoot for a springy response, a player is protected on impact where they need it most. A carbon glass shank plate provides torsional rigidity and support while reducing midsole weight.

Additional elements such as engineered textile wings, Nike Pro Combat inspired padding in the inner collar, asymmetrical lacing, heel pull tab, outrigger for lateral stability, and flex grooves in the outsole bring LeBron’s ninth signature shoe to unrivaled levels of performance. Signature style including LeBron’s new logo, his signature on the ventilated tongue, and a special outsole pattern are special nods to LeBron.

Nike Air Max LeBron VIII ‘Pre-Heat’ – New Images

Jordan Melo M7 China

Via AJTalk
With that, Jordan Brand has made a ‘China’ version that is quite an eye catcher. White and grey make up the upper with red accents seen on the laces. Jade is a great addition to the M7 and is used as the primary accent color on this makeup.

Nike Air Max CB34 ‘Glass Blue’ Update

What once had an entire black upper and ‘Glass Blue’ translucent sole now features a more OG look to it with the purple accents replaced with ‘Glass Blue’.

There was no word on these changes being made from the initial release images, but online retailer PYS has replaced the first round images with what we are now assuming is the actual release. Eastbay.com
however still shows the ‘Glass Blue’ listed in the all black version so at this point we may just be able to obtain both pairs.

Cha-ching! LeBron re-signs with Nike

It's official. Thanks to Nike, LeBron James(notes) is a rich man.

Of course he was already super rich, so now he's even more super rich. Courtesy of Nike, that is. You get it.

Wednesday, as rumored last week, LeBron signed his new deal with Nike in some of the least surprising news of all time.

"LeBron James is one of the world's best basketball players and a global sports icon that has transcended generations and cultures," Nike spokesman Kejuan Wilkins said. "Nike's relationship with LeBron has created innovative basketball products and captivating campaigns. We're proud to continue our partnership with him for years to come."

That had to have been a pretty short meeting for Nike executives:

"Let's re-sign LeBron."

"OK. Lunch time. You want Jimmy Johns?"

While terms of the deal haven't yet been disclosed, Darren Rovell reports that the deal is for longer than the seven year, $93 million contract he signed out of high school. Sure beats mowing yards.

Additionally, this new contract carries with it some hope for Clevelanders that LeBron won't ply his trade elsewhere, just because of endorsement money. As Brian Windhorst of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer reports that "according to multiple sources, the new deal does not have any bonuses for James to play in a larger market such as New York, Chicago or Los Angeles."

That's good news if you're a Cavs fan, and even better news if you're LeBron James because it means you're getting paid no matter where you play. All you have to worry about is chasing a championship. Oh, and finding someone capable of managing millions upon millions of dollars. That's probably important, too.

NIKE AIR PIPPEN 1...NOT APRIL FOOLS JOKE!!! REALLY THEY ARE BACK!

NIKE AIR PIPPEN 1

THE SUN NEVER SETS ON FRESH NIKE'S.

If you’re a hoop head, former Chicago Bull (and NBA Swiss army knife), Scottie Pippen will forever be known as the Barney Rubble to Michael Jordan's Fred Flintstone. However, if you’re a sneaker fiend, Pip’s Nike Air Pippen 1 sings back-up vocals for no one.

After releasing the original Black / White / Red Nike Air Pippen 1 in 2009, Nike are back at it in 2010 with three more ill Air Pippen 1s. They recently announced that they're dropping a Sunrise to Sundown Air Pip, set to be released on April 2 - exclusively at House of Hoops outlets in the US. This exclusive colourway features yellow, orange, red gradient waves, black textured leather upper, Deep Orange toe swoosh, black outsole and white midsole.

The Sunrise to Sundown release will be accompanied by the White / Black / Metallic Silver Nike Air Pippen 1 Retro, which is set for release at select Nike accounts in May. In addition to the Metallic Silver Nike Air Pippen 1, the Swoosh are also planning to release a White / Total Orange that looks garden fresh with a white based upper, bright Orange accents in the waves and Total Orange outsole. These White / Total Orange Pips are scheduled for a June release.
