MCM Award Case

The Bambi Award is the most important German trophy for international media and film. The bronze metal deer sculpture is given out every year to exceptional people of the industry and can be somewhat compared to the Oscar. The next Bambi Awards are coming up on November 10th, 2011, and this year luxury leather goods maker MCM produced a custom case for the prize. Each winner of the award will receive the custom case as well.

Marc Jacobs Leather Duffle Bag

The bag features a quilted paneling on its lower half with magnetic closure ridged pockets on the sides. An exposed zip closure circumvents the bottom while a black satin shoulder strap and handles enhance portability. Priced at $1,900 USD the duffle bag is available now from SSENSE.

Louis Vuitton 2011 Spring/Summer Damier Aventure Practical

Louis Vuitton release a sportier rendition of its popular Damier pattern through two bags seen here. The Damier Aventure Practical features a familiar tonal checkered pattern and instead of the usual leather based materials, it is seen in a foldable, lightweight nylon. The bag does however include leather and suede detailing. With its initial appearance for this season, the bag will be included in subsequent collections for men. The bag carries a suggested retail price of $910 USD.

Known as the inventors of aluminium luggage, Bape produced two collaborative cabin trolleys, coming in silver and gold, both featuring an all-over Bape camouflage design on the front. Globe-Trotter 2009 Luggage Collection

Synonymous for their line of luxurious and finely crafted British luggage, Globe-Trotter recently presented new pieces from their 2009 collection within the Las Vegas tradeshows. Along with a masterful line of bags and suitcases, the brand celebrates their 110th anniversary in 2009 with according to them: “the single most important development in the brands illustrious history”. Originally previewed back in 2007, the 110 marked their first ever next generation hard case.
