Nike Sportswear LunarBoot Holiday 2010
Next up from the Nike Sportswear Holiday 2010 Lunar Collection, of which we just presented the LunarWood, is the LunarBoot line-up. Once again the Swoosh presents a well balanced shoe filled with functionality and innovative design.
“Created by Nike’s ACG design team, its easy to see why the shoe was adopted by Nike Sportswear. Work wear and outdoor trends lead the way, and for good reason, outdoor sports and ACG product in particular require function and durability beyond any other performance orientated sport. The classic duck boot has become a staple style item for the winter in recent seasons, given the modern lightweight technology of Nike’s Lunar foam without losing any of its rustic appeal, the Nike Lunarboot becomes the leader in a very popular field of style.”

Video: Big K.R.I.T.: "Somedayz"
Director John Colombo's video for "Somedayz" by Rising Mississippi rapper/producer Big K.R.I.T. is a low-key and casual affair. It's mostly just K.R.I.T. hanging out in what appears to be a pickup truck's bed, gently kicking around the immortally luminous Souls of Mischief "93 'Til Infinity" beat. Hip Hop Album Sales: The Week Ending 8/22/2010
Eminem ain't movin' from #1, Fat Joe falls from the Top 200, and Drake's "Thank Me Later" is a week from platinum, while Bun B continues a strong climb to 100k.
Eminem's Recovery held #1 for another week. The Aftermath release topped Kem's latest by a margin of over 40,000. Recovery has now spent 10 weeks on the charts, with the vast majority of those as #1.
Rick Ross fell out of the Top 10 Teflon Don. The Def Jam rapper's fourth official album features work from veterans such as No I.D., DJ Clark Kent and Cee-Lo. Ross' album marches towards gold. Drake's Thank Me Later was right behind Ricky at #12. Not crossing the million mark this week, it almost a certainty that the Toronto actor/emcee will see his first platinum next week.
Two veteran releases to the charts returned to the top of the urban place-holders. The Black Eyed Peas' The E.N.D. and Usher's Raymond v. Raymond took the #29 and #31 spots respectively. The Interscope/A&M/Geffen release from BEP has spent 63 weeks on the charts, and likely will head to triple platinum. Meanwhile, already platinum, Usher's latest is said to be getting supplementary remixes on an upcoming platinum edition.
