Gucci Icon: Pop up Store Opening Party

On Friday night GUCCI held a party to celebrate the opening of the last Icon-Temporary stores. Celebrities and special guests were split over two floors with music provided by Verbal and Yoon. Interactive consumer electronics and installations were set up around the store, including an ipad application and a touch screen window where shoppers could view themselves wearing the sneakers of their choice through digital manipulation.

Footwear collaborator and DJ, Mark Ronson was on hand that evening to perform with Chauffeur, one of the many new talented acts he produces. Situated at Gucci’s Shinjuku location, the pop-up store will be opened until July 4th.

Dom Pérignon Wedding

Dom Pérignon have created a special service catering specifically to weddings. The Dom Pérignon Wedding service consists of twelve Dom Pérignon Vintage 2000 magnums. A thirteenth bottle features a custom label made of sterling silver engraved with the name of both bride and groom and date of the wedding. Dom Pérignon have only made a custom bottle once before in their three hundred year history and that was for the marriage of Lady Diana Spencer and Prince Charles in 1981. The Dom Pérignon Wedding service can be ordered from Dom Pérignon merchants.

Album of The Month November 2011- Drake "Take Care"

If I had to sum up Take Care in one word, I would say its growth. If theres one thing that Drake has shown us since he came into the rap game, its that he is, if nothing else, consistant. He has a formula: Rap a lot, sing a little, do a hook here and there, and bam, you've got Drake's whole catalogue in less that one sentence. Thats not necessarily a bad thing, and in the case of Take Care, Drake seems to focus more on perfecting his forumla rather than expanding it, while still showing us that he's gotten better.

Another Classic under the Belt of the hottest artist in the Country right now. This dude is so on fire he is starting to make this look like Gucci Mane reincarnated again with a whole new "lingo" and wordplay. Although not a lyricist by any means, Future has the rhaspyness and alertness in his voice to wake a mid eastern village! His beat selection is perhaps the best I have seen since the old Gucci Mane as well. I dont know what it is but when your hot ...you ARE HOT! & this dude has it right now. If you cant see that then you are a getwit just like the rest of them.
