For so long I watch all these other cities steal our dances and etc and make it look like they invented everything we do...No names ATL...NY...Lol..Whateva. For the last 12 Years or So "Beating Your Feet" has been a creative interpretive dance almost like miming for kids of all ages to dance and show their neighborhood off (Put On), and just flat out have fun. Although D.C as we know gets tired of things very soon they have recently in the last 4 or 5 years fallen back on this style of Dance. Recently a group called the " Beat Your Feet Kings" were on Apollo and some other shoes bringing the awareness of the dance right back to home...This same group also features in Wale's new Nike Boots Video coming out soon. (Sorry NY we made Nike boots also..its A D.C/ MD / VA Thing! check em out Right now!
