With the release of Penny's old shoe(Penny II & Penny III) coming out in several different colorways this month, I figured this would be a good time to reflect on his greatness....
& OF COURSE THE SHOE:
You ever wonder why things that occur now, are never even close to the level of creativeness of the past? I do. I wonder why everything on T.V now is just a hopeless peice of duplicated entertainment. All reality shows, and no originality. Penny gave us a character (Lil Penny) we will never forget through Chris Rock's voice. A Shoe series that remains timeless...& Probbably a glimpse of how great one man could become. Unfortanely the glimpse only lasted about 4-5 prime years at most. Penny was given nothing but injury after injury and soon after faded off our minds. The truth is he never faded out of mind and he still remains to me one of the greatest players to ever play the game of basketball. Long live the great ONE's!
